Side Panel
The side panel is very useful to keep tabOS side by side with any webpage. By leveraging the side panel you can efficently take notes from the site, use ai assistants side by side with the website or manage tabs. The Side Panel can be opened on any site apart from new tab. You can open the side panel with ctrl + shift + s shortcut, this short cut can be changed under chrome://extensions/shortcuts.Another way to open the sidepanel is by pressing the extension button if you have pinned it in the top right, see image below.
You can also open the sidepanel from the dock if you are in new tab, by pressing the right most button of the dock then open in side panel.Lastly you can can also open the sidepanel from the context menu by right clicking on any site then navigate to tabOS then open sidepanel.
